*Before beginning, the Microsoft Enterprise Global Administrator should ensure that all planned Teams Users have the necessary Microsoft licenses assigned. You will need one extra unassigned User and Phone System, or a comparable, add-on license available. Microsoft sometimes takes 24-48 hours to update its systems to reflect new license assignments, so doing this in advance can streamline the installation process.
Login to you O365 Admin Portal (https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home#/homepage )
Copy the Invitation Code
Once you have clicked the COMPLETE button, you will be authenticated with Microsoft OAUTH login. You need to log in and grant permissions using the credentials of the Microsoft Enterprise Global Admin. After permissions are granted, you will end up on the Enterprise portal dashboard.
*Accept All Permissions in the next couple of Prompts.
On the initial login to the Enterprise Portal, the Enterprise Administrator will be redirected to the User Group Sync page to perform a “User/Group Sync” so that the Users will be populated with the intended user groups. See User Groups Sync for complete instructions.

**Ensure you have the correct Microsoft Office licensing. You will need to have at least 1 available AND unassigned User license with the Phone System, or a comparable (E5), add-on that allows you to use Direct Routing. Available relevant licenses will be displayed on the Direct Routing page.
Reach out to Support to Bridge the Direct Routing from Audian PBX to Teams.
Please Note we will need the Invitation Code as well.
During this Part a Generating the Direct Routing Users with those available licenses needed in beginning.
Does my DirectRouting User need a Microsoft License?
Yes. Temporarily.
For the automated setup of Direct Routing a “Direct Routing User” is created in Microsoft Enterprise and assigned an available Microsoft User license and Phone System, or comparable, add-on.
You can recoup this license from the DirectRouting User once Direct Routing is fully established. If you created multiple direct routes, there will be one user for each route, including redundant routes. Be sure to recover the licenses from all of them. The following instructions are available in video form here.
Navigate to the Microsoft Admin Center >> Active Users and select DirectRouting User
Select Licenses and Apps
Unselect the User License and if relevant the Phone System Add On. In the example below E3 and Microsoft 365 Business Voice. You can use any combination of compatible licenses listed here.
Select Save changes.
On successful unassignment of licenses you will see a small notification on your DirectRouting User Licensing page. You will also see that the DirectRouting User will be considered Unlicensed.
DO NOT DELETE THE DIRECTROUTING USER

Step 4: User Setups (Audian Duty)
Office 365 Licenses Require at least an Inclusive Licenses such as a Microsoft 365 E5 or mostly any other o365 Licenses (such as MICROSOFT 365 BUSINESS) with an additional feature license called “Microsoft Teams Phone Standard”.
Teams Phone Standard is at the time $8.
Audian Teams Phone Integration License $3
Please provide a list of the Microsoft Teams user names (Microsoft email address) of all intended users of the connector. This allows the Service Provider to pre-build a Bulk Upload file and confirm the match between the Teams User and the PBX system user.
*Has it been at least 24 hours since you added, removed or updated licenses related to this integration or a user for this integration? Microsoft O365 requires ample provisioning time.
