This article will show you how to do the following:
For one button transfers to be enabled on a Polycom device, you will also need to make sure that that device has Set Blind Transfer as Default enabled as well. This is done from the same menu.
Definitions
Blind Vs Attended Transfers: Blind transfers are where you do not speak with the party receiving the call prior to the transfer, Attended transfers, will be able to speak with the person receiving the call prior to finishing the transfer and is the Default transfer mode when using the Transfer softkey at the bottom of the screen.
Set Blind Transfer as default: This option is required for One Touch transfers to work, this changes how the Transfer softkey at the bottom of the screen works. Setting this to Blind by default instead of Attended.
One-Touch Speed Dial Transfers Override (VVX Only): This option enables One Touch transfers to Speed dials (Extensions setup to ring a Group of people, or External numbers such as cell phones or a different company)
Enable One-Touch Transfers (VVX Only): This enables One Touch Transfers to Presence enabled BLF/Speed dials buttons. This would be a users Extension and where you can see if that user is Busy/On a call or not.
