Reporting a Security Incident
If you suspect your account has been compromised or you've clicked a suspicious link, act fast.
Immediate Steps
- Disconnect from the network — turn off Wi-Fi or unplug the ethernet cable
- Don't turn off your computer — we may need to investigate
- Call Audian IT immediately — 844-611-6110, option 3 (say "security incident")
- Change your password from another device if possible
What Counts as a Security Incident?
- Clicked a link in a phishing email
- Entered your password on an unfamiliar website
- Opened a suspicious attachment
- Received an MFA prompt you didn't initiate
- Noticed unusual activity in your email (sent messages you didn't write)
- Lost or stolen laptop/phone with work data
Don't Be Embarrassed
Reporting quickly minimizes damage. Even trained security professionals fall for sophisticated attacks. The faster we know, the faster we can contain it.
